Emma Kaufmann LaDuc and Lauro Nächt

Emma Kaufmann LaDuc, born in the United States, and Lauro Nächt, born in Austria, work and study at the Institute of Architecture, Vienna University of Technology. Emma is hardly ever seen without a book in hand, and Lauro is a passionate chess player; both are part of a collective concerned with urban ecologies. Over the past summer, they have exhibited at the Notgalerie and the Vienna Design Week in association with the AA nanotourism Visiting School Vienna, where they hosted walks during the week-long event. In the following winter, they held a talk ("Tolerant urban ecologies'') at the conference "Care Beyond Crises" with Eco-Social Design at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
